This is a sweet children’s story with a lesson – the bond between owner and pet is more valuable than any impressive trick. Even more important is the moral of the story: to accept a friend or a pet for what they are and to love them as they are with their faults and their good points. This musical adaptation by Jessica Buha is based on the novel by Jenny Offill, and the music and lyrics have been created by Laura McKenzie. This is another great story for the 3-8 year olds (following The Tiger Who Came to Tea)!
